The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (NGRST) is a space telescope owned by NASA. It was launched on 30 August 2026. Its objective is to settle essential questions in the areas of dark energy, exoplanets, and astrophysics.^[1]

Location

The telescope will sit about 1,500,000 km away at the Lagrange points.^[2]
