Polus

These are a set of general rules governing Polus. More accurately, they are guidelines, and aren't supposed to be taken too seriously.

Rules

Conduct

1. Be civil.
2. No vandalism, including blanking pages.
3. No excessively annoying/ragebaiting people if they're uncomfortable with it.
4. Do not use alts for harmful purposes (sockpuppeting).
5. No impersonation.

Content (entire site)

6. No advertising, unless the thing being advertised has been endorsed by Polus.
7. No plagiarism.
8. No defamation. See project:Defamation for more.
9. No doxxing or posting someone else's private information.
10. No NSFW content.
11. No illegal content.

Content (exempted in Extra:)

12. No spamming.
13. AI-generated content with no human review is banned. See project:AI use for more.
14. Only English prose is allowed in the main namespace.
15. No clearly off-topic content.

Usage

The exact consequences of breaking these rules are entirely up to the admins' discretion. However, actual punishments like a ban from editing should only happen after many repeated violations.

This page is protected to be editable only by admins to stop anyone from just being able to add, change, or remove rules. If you would like to propose changes to these rules, please go onto forum thread #8 or #polus in the Discord server.
