What is Polus?
Polus (pronounced /'poʊ.ləs/, from Greek πόλος "pole; night sky") is a free, ad-free website dedicated to sharing information about astronomy. That could be a galaxy, an exoplanet, or a mathematical concept in astrophysics, among many, many other things.
It uses a wiki-like principle: everyone can edit any page to help improve the website. And that includes you!

What can I do here?
Firstly, please create an account. Even if you aren't editing, an account allows you to keep a bookmark list (the ⭐ button in the top right opens it) and talk on the forums. Apart from the forums, another medium of communication for Polus matters is the Discord server.
If you would like to edit, please check out the getting started guide. That will guide you through how to edit pages here on Polus, and if you've already used Markdown or edited a wiki before, it'll be a walk in the park.
As mentioned above, if you would like to get a user right like mod or admin, simply contact me (@Anpang) or another admin through Discord or the forums.
